Status of the WarHawK forum RPG
Having started over a month ago, the forum-based roleplaying game scenario, Silence Beneath the Trees, going on over at the WarHawK forums, is entering its final stages, as the heroic PCs tangle with their primary enemy, the dreaded Horsemen, though just the few attacks the PCs made have already handed the majority of the Horsemen their own a$$e$, so now there is a Deadly Fire, and the Horsemen are Fleeing – what will our heroes do?!
I am running this scenario using a slightly modified version of Dan Bayn’s Wushu rules, which encourage interesting and exciting actions by awarding dice for each relevant detail.My online dice roller can be found at http://www.zanysite.com/tabletoprpgfun/dice.php Most of the players still haven’t quite grasped how and when to break their creative writing and storytelling with the action movie stunt descriptions, but I can’t fault them – they’re all interesting to read.
