This GURPS Update is, dated, to say the least, looks like 3rd Edition maybe? I never did wind up playing even one game of GURPS though I liked the modular and very open structure of the game.

Twilight: 2000 - Although slightly older friends of mine continue to sing the praises of T2K, I only got to play in one brief scenario, in which we mistakenly attacked the convoy we were supposed to meet up with, ending the game. And leading up to that, we had to keep track of how many MRE’s and cans of water we were carrying on our convoy, and how much everything weighed. It didn’t strike me as a game I would want to try twice.

Farador D&D: Tom and his Chums (video)

Farador D&D: Tom and his Chums (French with English subtitles) is a cute 2 part “episode” about some French gamers getting together for a game of tabletop D&D. Places to Go, People to Be

I’m not sure how I missed this site, this e-zine, up until this point, as much as I enjoy reading well-reasoned articles related to tabletop role-playing games, but I’d like to correct my oversight now. Places to Go, People to Be is a terrific e-zine with articles on all sorts of aspects of RPGs, from mechanical discussions of systems to group and social dynamics, historical perspectives on role-playing and contemporary real-world opinions on the hobby. I know I’m going to be reading up on all this for the next few days, at least, and encourage other interested parties to do the same! Here’s the address: http://ptgptb.org/issue-index.html

Here we have a selection of role playing game covers, more like a gallery of RPGs:

Call of Cthulhu - Chaosium’s Basic Role Playing (BRP) system is used to fuel the nightmare world envisioned by 20s pulp horror writer H.P. Lovecraft.

Feng Shui - Modern action movie roleplaying with pretty simple and intuitive rules, though I tend to simplify my sessions even more with ideas from Wushu.

Chill - Out of print Mayfair games horror offering, modernized from the also out of print Pacesetter original release, Chill was, at the time, probably one of the better contenders for horror roleplaying, and relied on a less arcane system of knowledge and world mythology than Call of Cthulhu.

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay - Spending a good ten years out of print, Warhammer nonetheless managed to achieve a solid fanbase with its simple but rich mechanics and world info.
